1.Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Job Marshal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Job Marshal is operated by Navo Labs, a sole proprietorship based in California. These terms form an agreement between you and Navo Labs.
Our Privacy Policy is incorporated into these terms by reference and describes how we handle your information. Please read it alongside this document.
2.Eligibility and Minimum Age
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use Job Marshal. The service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly permit them to register.
If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we will close it and delete the associated data. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
By creating an account you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3.Description of Service
Job Marshal is a career intelligence platform. We scan publicly available job postings, compare them against resume content you provide, and return fit scores, gap analysis, and related career research tools.
Job Marshal is not an employment agency, recruiter, staffing firm, or career counselor. We do not place candidates, submit applications on your behalf, negotiate with employers for you, or have any relationship with the employers whose postings we surface. Applying to any job remains entirely your own action.
Job postings come from third-party sources. We do not control their content and cannot guarantee that any listing is accurate, current, legitimate, or still open. Verify any opportunity directly with the employer before acting on it.
4.User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when registering, to keep it current, and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
Accounts are for a single individual. You may not share an account, sell or transfer it, or create an account on someone else's behalf without their explicit consent. We may require you to verify your email address before granting access to parts of the service.
5.Your Content
You retain full ownership of everything you upload or write — resumes, profile details, notes, Story Bank entries, negotiation preparation, offer details, and anything else you enter.
By providing that content, you grant Job Marshal a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to store, process, and transmit it solely to deliver the service to you. This license exists only so the product can function; it ends when you delete the content or your account. We do not sell your content, use it to advertise, or use it for any purpose other than providing the service.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you provide. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, including confidential material belonging to a current or former employer.
6.Content About Other People
Some optional features let you upload information about people other than yourself — most notably Network Radar, which accepts the connections file exported from LinkedIn.
If you upload information about other people, you confirm that you obtained it lawfully and that you have the right to share it with us for this purpose. You may not upload purchased contact lists, scraped data, or information you were given in confidence.
We store the minimum needed to make the feature work, we never contact those people, and we never use their information for marketing. Details are in our Privacy Policy. If you no longer want it stored, you can delete all uploaded connections from Account Settings at any time.
7.AI-Generated Output
Match scores, gap analysis, profile synthesis, negotiation guidance, interview preparation, and similar features are generated by artificial intelligence, including models operated by third-party providers. Your content is transmitted to those providers to produce the results you requested, as described in our Privacy Policy.
AI output is informational only. It is not employment advice, legal advice, financial advice, or a prediction of any outcome. It can be incomplete, outdated, or simply wrong, and it should never be your only basis for a career or financial decision.
A high match score is not a representation that you will be interviewed, hired, or paid any particular amount. We do not guarantee employment outcomes of any kind.
8.Plans, Billing, and Automatic Renewal
Job Marshal offers a free tier, one-time credit purchases, time-limited Job Hunt Passes, and a recurring Advanced subscription. Current prices for every option are shown on our pricing page and at checkout before you pay. All payments are processed by Stripe; we never receive or store your card details.
- Free tier: Includes a set number of searches each month at no charge, which reset on the 1st. No payment method is required.
- Credits: Purchased individually or in bundles. Credits never expire, and a credit is only deducted when a search completes and returns results. A search that fails or returns nothing does not cost you a credit.
- Job Hunt Passes: A one-time purchase that grants a block of credits immediately and unlocks a higher feature tier for a fixed period. When the period ends, the elevated feature access ends — but the credits the pass granted are yours permanently and do not expire.
- Advanced subscription: A recurring subscription billed monthly, quarterly, or annually depending on the cycle you choose. It includes a monthly credit allowance plus the full toolkit.
- Free trial: New subscribers may start a 14-day free trial. One trial per account. We do not charge you during the trial period.
- Automatic renewal: The Advanced subscription renews automatically. If you start a free trial and do not cancel before it ends, your subscription begins and your payment method is charged at the end of the trial. After that, it renews at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current price until you cancel. Your renewal date and billing cycle are always displayed on your Billing page.
9.Cancellation and Refunds
You can cancel your Advanced subscription at any time online from your Billing page, in a few clicks. You never have to call us, email us, or wait for us to process a request. Cancellation stops all future charges.
When you cancel, your subscription remains active through the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and then does not renew. You keep full access until that date. If you cancel during a free trial, access ends when the trial would have ended and you are never charged.
- Subscription payments: Payments already made are not refundable, including partial periods after a mid-cycle cancellation. The 14-day free trial exists so you can evaluate Advanced at no cost before any charge occurs.
- Credits: Credit purchases are not refundable. Because credits never expire, unused credits remain in your account indefinitely and are available whenever you return.
- Job Hunt Passes: Pass purchases are not refundable. The credits a pass granted remain in your account permanently even after the pass period ends.
- If we terminate your account: If we terminate your account for cause, we will refund the purchase price of any unused credits you bought directly. Credits granted as part of a Job Hunt Pass, a promotion, or a referral reward are not refundable, and we will not refund the unused remainder of a subscription period or a pass.
- Billing errors: If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will investigate and correct it. Nothing in this section limits any refund right you have under applicable law.
10.Prohibited Uses
You may not use Job Marshal to violate any applicable law, infringe the rights of others, or interfere with the operation of the service. Specifically, you may not:
- Scrape or extract: Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-extract job listings, scores, or any other data from the platform.
- Reverse engineer: Decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code, models, or scoring logic behind the service.
- Manipulate scoring: Submit fraudulent or deliberately misleading content to distort AI scoring, or attempt to probe, game, or reverse the scoring system.
- Abuse infrastructure: Circumvent rate limits, bot protection, or access controls, or place unreasonable load on the platform.
- Resell access: Share, sublicense, or resell your account or the output of the service as a competing product.
- Misuse others' data: Upload information about other people that you have no right to share, or use anything you find on the platform to harass or contact people who have not agreed to hear from you.
11.Intellectual Property
All content, logos, software, design elements, and scoring methodology used on Job Marshal are the property of Navo Labs or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.
This does not affect your ownership of your own content, which is covered above. You may freely use the reports, scores, and analysis we generate for you for your own personal job search.
12.Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that job listings will be accurate or available, that AI scoring will be correct, or that using Job Marshal will result in any interview, offer, or employment outcome.
13.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Navo Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service — including lost employment opportunities, lost wages, lost data, or reliance on AI-generated scores or recommendations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred U.S. dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Navo Labs from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms or of any law, or your uploading of content you did not have the right to provide — including information about other people.
15.Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings. Deletion disables access immediately, and your data is permanently erased after a short grace period during which you can reactivate. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these terms, use the service unlawfully, or take actions that threaten the security, integrity, or availability of the platform. Where the circumstances reasonably allow it, we will give you notice and an opportunity to correct the problem first.
If we terminate your account for cause, we will refund the purchase price of any unused credits you bought directly, as described under Cancellation and Refunds. Sections covering your content license, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.
16.Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and Navo Labs each consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Either party may still bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
Before filing anything, please contact us first. Most disputes can be resolved quickly and informally by email, and we would much rather fix a problem than argue about it.
17.Changes to the Service and These Terms
We are actively developing Job Marshal and may add, change, or discontinue features over time.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the platform before it takes effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to a change, you may cancel and stop using the service.
18.General
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect and the unenforceable provision is limited to the minimum extent necessary. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.
You may not assign or transfer these terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Navo Labs regarding the service and supersede any prior understandings. Nothing in them creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture relationship between us.
